The 17th British Tea

A big thank you goes out to all of you! For those of you who made a donation, purchased a ticket to attend, invited guests, bid on the auction items and bought raffle tickets in hopes of winning a prize, baked the mini desserts or volunteered to be in the planning committee, thank you!

With all of your support, New Clevelanders will be presenting a check to The Gathering Place for $25,000 to help those touched by cancer. It is the largest amount ever raised in the history of the British Tea. What an amazing number!

Thank you for your support and passion to help others!

Many thanks to our corporate sponsors!

More About Our Charity!

The Gathering Place has two locations.  One in Beachwood and the other in Westlake, Ohio. It’s a community-based cancer support center that provides a safe, supportive environment for individuals and families to learn new approaches that help them cope with the physical, emotional and spiritual impact of cancer.

Because people have varied styles of coping and are at different paths on the cancer journey, a wide variety of services are offered such as support groups, an education center that includes a lending library, lectures and workshops, gentle movement classes such as yoga and tai chi, and programs for children.
